White Shabby Bedroom Ideas

As you know I adore shabby chic style. Although I have been changing things around my home I still have an admiration for all things shabby chic. I know that may of you have that same love for shabby chic style. This look is so easy to create so I thought it would this week to share a white shabby bedroom ideas design board. I’ve added a few tips on how you can make your own no sew curtains so keep reading. (This post contains affiliate links see disclosure policy)

White Shabby Bedroom Ideas

When you’re thinking about white shabby bedroom ideas think about simplicity. This bedding has simple style and is perfect. It’s light and airy and has a subtle shabby romantic look. But it’s not over the the top. The simplicity in this room is perfection!

Nothing is more luxurious than comfortable sheets. When you are planning your white shabby bedroom ideas don’t forget about the little things like bed sheets. These ruffled bed sheets would work perfectly with this bedding. I love these sheets so much and I have a few sets myself!

I personally like finding side tables that match. But you don’t have to match with shabby style. Here’s a beautiful set that’s the perfect size for nightstands. If you’d like to create your own unique look find tables that are similar but not alike. Or forget what I just said and look for a matching pair. Several months ago I created my own matching set when I repurposed a desk into two side tables.

Chandeliers add that perfect sparkle in a room. Nothing says shabby style like a crystal chandelier. I have several chandeliers in my home. I really believe you can add them to any room including a bedroom.

If chandeliers aren’t you thing add a little bling with a mercury glass lamp. These would work perfectly on those side tables.

I didn’t choose any curtains for this shabby bedroom design board. You can purchase curtains or get really thrifty and create no sew curtains. Here’s my tutorial on No Sew Window Treatment. Watch this video on how to hem curtains.

If you’re on a tight budget reuse the rods you already have. You can easily paint them.

I love adding a pop of color in a white room. This sweet little clock does the trick!

Wow Anne, great changes to your blog, up and coming. Suppose to keep blog alive and current need to make changes, offers, whatever it takes, looking very nice. Have noticed changes, some very subtle, on a few blogs. Imagine that’s what it’s about, to keep interest and attract new readers. You’re doing awesome job.
Wish now I had gotten white curtain rods but as usual had to keep in mind that nasty green stuff to make it go further. As you suggested can spray paint curtain rods/hardware. Got couple nice ones at Big Lots earlier in year so will have hubs spray them while is still nice enuf outside, think same for living room rods which been using since we moved in here, over 10 yrs. ago.. They’ve held up very nicely so can’t complain. Will give them new life spraying them white. Think white more appropriate with cottage style. Might see if can find new finials for l/r rods.
Want to paint my portable kitchen island also which daughter got for us along with stove from a cleaning client redoing her kitchen. Hated stove that came with house and one client gave daughter is almost exactly what I wanted at Sears, but was over $300.gulp.
At that time both hubs and I working so we could buy this place plus still making payments, insurance for house in KY, was pretty stringent around here for long time. When we first came here we were paying to live in RV park (10 months) and paying for KY house on just SS. Hubs got to work at rv park so our rent was paid. Then hubs rented a house from friend of daughters that was pretty affordable and hubs working at a housing development. Things got some better when he worked at senior housing dev.
It’s hard here as real estate is ridiculously expensive like southern CA. Everything is much higher here, especially after KY. What we could buy sure isn’t what we wanted but bought what we could afford, at least we don’t have to live in a town, have incredible views and have 1/2 acre out in rural area. Have neighbors but not on top of us, all have at least 1/2 acre or more.
Ok am going to clean out kitchen island, sand it then get busy painting it. No time like the present.
    Have wonderful Fall weekend
P.S.Love your aqua dress with overlay skirt, look awesome in it.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
