Pottery Barn Inspired Look For Less

Pottery Barn Inspired Look For Less

Today’s Pottery Barn inspired look for less was found on Amazon. I created a room design for under $800! If you’ve searched for furnishings on Pottery Barn you know how expensive it can be. Most of us are on a tight budget. If this is still out of your price range, then take what I’m sharing with you and search for pieces similar at thrift shops, garage sales or Craigs list. You may find similar pieces for less than what I’m sharing.  (This post contains affiliate links, please see disclosure policy)

You can see this look is easy to achieve. The sofa is simply a slipcover that you can add to your sofa. This is a super easy way to update a piece of furniture and not purchase a new sofa. I’ve shared my sofa in my living room. And that’s exactly what I did to transform it. You can read more about that HERE.

And yes this was my living room five years ago, it’s come a long way don’t you think? I honestly don’t know what I was thinking, I must have been going through a sad time in my life. I don’t know. But here’s my old living room in all of it’s glory!

My sofa slip cover is a wheat color, but I prefer white and will purchase a white sofa cover in our next home. This is an instant way to update furniture and it’s much cheaper than purchasing a new sofa.

Aw, didn’t we all have a floral couch and a similar side chair? I always wanted a bow front cabinet to display all my depression glass, too. 😀 (Got passed that.) I bet too, that if you’d taken that picture with the photography skills you’ve picked up over the past few years, it would look charming.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
