MAKEUP FOR MATURE SKIN

Ah back from a relaxing weekend with my family.We took a drive up north to Door County Wisconsin.The weather was fallish.It was a bit cool but still beautiful.We saw the most amazing rainbow ever.And honestly pictures do not do justice!I have never seen a more vibrant rainbow like the one we saw. First I wanted to thank you all for your sweet comments about my feature in Creating Vintage Charm.It is a huge honor for me!About a year ago I shared my creative space that I created HERE .Now I am going to share my creative space part 2. Why part 2 you ask?Well when I changed my daughters  bedroom we swapped out our desk and chair sets.Her desk was a little larger than mine.This little furniture change called for a revamp of the room. Oh my I don't even know where to begin...... well the wall color is the same and the curtains are the same. That dining table was in my kitchen until I decided the farm style table would be better in my kitchen. This is the first summer with my David Austin roses.And recently I found a garden tote.What could be more perfect for my roses. One of the reasons I love summer so much is my garden.Having access to fresh flowers is wonderful! Love these roses and unfortunately it seems something else does too! Some of my roses are being eaten by Japanese beetles! I am trying to figure out what to use on these to distract the beetles but not kill my roses. This post is not supposed to be about Japanese beetles.Let's get back to the roses and this garden tote. I found this recently at a thrift shop and knew I would have a use for it. My Laundry room was a challenge.I have been wanting  to reveal the laundry room for some time but I was waiting for a few things to get done. I don't have any before photos to share.I don't know why I did not take any.Probably because it was not an over night project but one that took me awhile to accomplish on a budget. I have been sharing bits and pieces of changes like those lockers I found for 50.00 and painted.And that chicken feeder and dairy sign above my washer and dryer. As you can see this room is a challenge.This is not only a laundry room but our entrance/mud room as well. It is large but very narrow. The other day my daughter and I decided to take a quick trip to the thrift shop.I am often lucky and can find lots of cool vintage treasures. And on this day as I was in line waiting to pay for a few things I found I spotted  a display case full of lovely china was sitting there staring at me to take it home.....really it's true! And as I stood there in line waiting to pay my daughter gave me many reasons of why I should not buy this china. Mom you have enough.....how much more do you need? True I do ...but recently I sold and donated pieces I no longer wanted. It sounds a bit mean doesn't it. I got tired of some beautiful pieces so off they go until the next pieces steal my heart.
