I thought I would share with you what my daughters room looks like on a GOOD day. Remember this is a teenage girls room. She is very neat but let's be real  it does not look like this everyday. When we decided to change my daughters room there were a few things that still had to come back into her room. And as much as I would love it to stay the way I shared it with you it is not realistic. While we are waiting for the  reveal of  my daughters room makeover I thought I would share a piece that I just brought into her room. It was in much need of repair so I knew paint would look amazing on this piece. Some may cringe when they see the before photo and wonder why I would paint such a lovely piece. But as I said it needed much repair. Parts of the wood were chipping off. Some water damage too. Yesterday was Groundhog day.Seems like a silly celebration really.All the commotion over a furry animal that supposedly predicts if it will be an early spring or not. But in 1993 a film crew came to Woodstock Illinois to  film the movie Groundhog day.And ever since they left this town has been celebrating  groundhog day in a big way! People anxiously awaiting the announcement.We arrived there bright and early in the morning.The temperature was 18.It was quite cold. Bright and early all bundled up.
