Merry Christmas!

December 24, 2014

Merry Christmas!

Tonight I will be celebrating Christmas Eve at our old church and with my family.

Can’t believe we have no snow on the ground, but secretly I am not complaining :-).

I have shared my home tour but never shared my front porch decorated for the holidays.

Here are a few night shot photos.

Christmas lights on the porch (1 of 10)

As you can see I can’t get a good shot of our whole house, just the porch.it’s a little too dark and I don’t like using a flash.

I do have wreaths on our Garage Windows too, which is right next to our porch.

I love the simple look of wreaths with red bows,it’s a classic look.

My planter stays out with a few greens tucked inside.

The only lights we add are the ones wrapped around the posts, and then we add a red bow.

I  also added a pair of skis with a fresh bunch of greens and a bow.

It’s hard to see it in this photo but the skis are propped up  by a plant stand that I also added fresh greens too.

My French bistro chair that I had indoors is now on our porch with an added pair of ice skates.

My olive bucket has a little tree top and is next to this old sled I found last year.

With the exception of the wreaths, lights and bows this will all stay out here as my winter porch decor.

And now from my family to yours…….Merry Christmas!

Anne, It is gorgeous. I feel the same as you and just love a few lights and a simple wreath. I always enjoy the annual ride-around to see ALL the lights, but love to come home to the simplicity..Merry Christmas to you and your family..Judy

Your front porch looks so pretty decorated for Christmas! I love the white lights and the red bows. The ski’s are a unique touch too.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
