Here We Go Again More Changes

September 16, 2014

Here we go again, yes a few more changes in my home my new motto less is more, and since it's feeling like fall with a season change I felt the need to tweak things around here just a bit. Let's start out with my favorite room of my home,my kitchen. Ah.... okay you are looking at this photo and saying to yourself....what changes I don't see any changes. Yes I know most is the same in this photo, and see I am not putting my pinks away just because it's almost fall. My coffee maker was in that spot that my paper towel holder is now at. Yes it's a small change but it is a change. Let's look at the other side and above my cabinets because that is where some of  new changes are. Oh and by the way see my scale,I added a few baby boos inside. I really felt that I needed to keep ... View Post

Heritage Lace In My Home

September 14, 2014

Excited to be partnering and decorating with Heritage Lace in my home. I was happy with the lace curtains I had in my master bedroom and bathroom. But when I was given pairs of new curtains for  my bedroom and bathroom I could not resist to change. Still keeping lace in this room, these curtain panels are from Heritage Lace and are called Duneagle. They have a lovely damask design. These curtains are cotton but have a muslin feel to them. I love the color, texture and feel of these curtains. Yes I know I see a few wrinkles in these but since taking the photo they are finally gone. Although a few wrinkles don't bother me at all. Remember I don't like things perfect. And since I added these to my bedroom I decided to change a few things in my bathroom. But I need your ... View Post

Searching For That Perfect Piece

September 11, 2014

Don't you love treasure hunting, searching for that perfect piece. Sometimes I think it's the hunt that is the most fun! I found this sweet biscuit jar months ago,I actually bought it for my shop but I just could not part with it. Isn't it lovely, yummy rose's and a little bit of crazing too! I knew when I found this piece that it would make the most perfect vase, and it has! But it's time to move on. Yes this sweet biscuit jar is now listed in the shop. I don't think I shared this but I am a bit of a blanket horder,  collector. I don't know what it is but when I find one, especially one adorned with sweet faded rose's ,I can't help myself. I have many, many blankets and throws in my home. And so this sweet throw will now be going to a new home. And it's the perfect time of ... View Post

Boots And Pumpkins

September 9, 2014

It still feels like summer, but boots and pumpkins are all the rage right now. I must admit I am still enjoying any bit of heat we have. Last year our winter was apocalyptic....yes it was that cold! Extreme cold temperatures that were way below average. We made history as being the coldest on record! So when I hear people say how hot they are I just think about the cold one we had last year. Please don't mind me if  I want to embrace it a little longer. And my pinks won't go away....nope I will work with them as the seasons change. Yes I do enjoy fall.........wearing my favorite boots. My riding boots,I shot this photo myself....it's not easy taking a selfie while holding flowers. My new...old pair of cowgirl boots! Of course I am excited to wear these old ... View Post

A Beautiful Day In The Country

September 7, 2014

A beautiful day in the country was the perfect setting for my photo shoot. One of the perks of being a blogger is the opportunity to work with amazing companies. I am thrilled to be  partnering with Heritage Lace. I know many of you have heard of this amazing company and I bet you are familiar with the lovely lace curtains, tablecloths and runners they sell. I recently shared my dining room with my beautiful lace curtains from Heritage Lace. But they sell so much more than that! Just for fun I thought I would shoot a few photos outdoors,it was a beautiful day  here out  in the country. We are blessed to live out in the Country surrounded by beautiful trees and tall grasses. This is just down the road from me,wish it was my back yard. I packed up my car with this farm table, a ... View Post

Are You Ready To Shop?

September 5, 2014

Are you ready to Shop? It's been a busy summer and over that time I decided to take a hiatus from my shop White Lace Cottage. I just did not have the time to ship out orders as we did lot's of traveling. Now that summer is coming close to an end,and I can't even believe I am saying that,it's time to re-open the shop. I am adding this sweet set of white vintage pitchers. I use  pitchers  just like these  all the time in my home, from using them as a vase to creatively using them for art supplies. And of course they look pretty just as they are on a table or in a china cabinet. Yes this lovely vintage light set is going into the shop too. I have never seen a pair of lights like this before, the color and patina is pure perfection and yes they do work. I love this sweet little ... View Post

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
