Adding A Centerpiece

October 21, 2014

I love adding a centerpiece to my tables, here are five ideas to add a simple centerpiece.

A table looks a little too plain and boring for me just to leave it without anything.

Here is a very simple look, nothing needs to be complicated when you add a centerpiece.

A lace tablecloth layered with a ruffled pink throw, even though this does not fit the table all the way it still looks pretty.

I love things that are casual and not fancy, just pretty.

A simple pitcher of roses fits perfectly as this centerpiece.

Same table now I just added  old scale.

I love using vintage scales in my home.

This one holds extra dessert dishes and yes I could even add dinner plates too!

The pitcher is a place to store extra silverware and napkins.

This pitcher brings a little color on the table too!

Okay, lets take this same scale and change it just a bit.

Here I added a pumpkin and my favorite plant!

Love the soft delicate leaves on this plant paired with the lace.

The the green color is a perfect hue for my room!

Now let’s go into my dining room.

This vintage ice cream bucket makes a lovely centerpiece.

Right now I have added some dried hydrangeas, but soon it will be filled with fresh greens for Christmas!

I added those two candle sticks on the side although I think this vintage ice cream bucket   would be perfectly fine just by itself,I love the added sparkle to my room.

A simple yet pretty look.

Like this platter with a few candle sticks.

Simple yet very elegant!

We all know that these boxwood wreaths look beautiful when they are hung up on a wall.

But why not use these on a table!

This is such a simple and elegant look for a table.

I just added that sweet cherub statue to the center of the wreath for a little height!

If I was entertaining this would  not be obnoxious on my table and would be very easy to still converse with my guests.

Adding a centerpiece is the icing on the cake for a table.

It looks pretty when entertaining and for everyday too!

I love all the centerpieces but I love the white platter with the candle sticks and the boxwood wreath and angel. I know a shocker I choice the whites LOL! They are all pretty. I just got a decor steals on those boxwood wreaths and I think I will order them for Christmas. Love them. Have a great day my friend.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
