Guest Post And Some News

January 30, 2015

I have some exciting news to share today.

But first  I would like to thank Liz from Hoosier Homemade for inviting me to guest post today.

I am sharing this very simple Valentine craft today.

You can visit Hooiser Homemade HERE.

How to make a heart shapped wreath from metal scrap (21 of 24)

I know another craft, and I said I wasn’t crafty…..guess I am 😉

Well, what else am I going to do in the winter.

There is not much to do outdoors just yet.

Now for some exciting news.

Recently my home was featured in Vintage Style magazine.

It was a HUGE honor to have my home featured.

A dream come true!

But never in my wildest dreams did I think that possibly, my photos that I took would be featured in a magazine.

Several months ago I was contacted by Stampington to write an article for their magazine Artful Blogging.

I was thrilled to have been asked.

This magazine is full of beautiful photos and articles photographed and written by bloggers.

So to have been asked is a thrill and an honor!

Thank you so much Stampington for featuring my photos and my article!

I am beyond thrilled to have my photos in your beautiful magazine along with all the other talented bloggers.

I’m always so proud when a blog I’ve subscribed to is featured in a magazine. You have worked so hard Anne and have a very distinct and wonderful style I’ve come to admire and enjoy more all the time. You go girl. How wonderful and exciting to be featured in Vintage zine, I’ll have to get it when I go to Sam’s Club and also in Artful Blogging. Stampington publishes quality zines of which I used to buy many of in KY.
I thought I saw Artful Blogging at JoAnn’s Wed.
Did you use real dried roses for your wreath or faux? Your rose Valentine wreath is exceptional. I noticed you used metal strapping for your wreath, great idea. Enjoy results of your hard work and talents.
    Happy weekend

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
