A Simple Holiday Table Setting

December 6, 2013

When I set a table I like to keep it simple,So today I thought I would share how I set a simple holiday table setting.

Just for fun I set my farmhouse table in my kitchen.

I am using my pretty Homer Laughlin dish set I found months ago at a thrift shop.

The pattern is called Chateau.

I placed a lace table cloth down the center that is folded in half.

This works much better on this long table, and is little more informal.

Just for fun I added that chippy pink scale to the center of the table and place my fresh flowers on top.

I found those vintage looking flash cards at Tattered-tiques a local shop.

They have a great selection and I picked up quite a few.

I will be sharing more of these soon!

Then I added some fresh greens and a few vintage pink ornaments to my tablescape.

I love the look of cups piled up on top of each other.

The napkins were found at thrift shops.

I did not have enough of the same, but that’s okay it’s never about perfection with me!

But it is about simplicity.

Just a few pine cones and dishes layered.

A dinner plate,a salad plate and soup bowl.

A very simple and easy table holiday table setting.

Today the construction crew was back working on the porch.

It’s really coming along now,I can’t wait to share it with you!

Your table (and your photography) are so soft and subtle that it’s a pleasure for my eyes that are tired of red and green already. Beautiful!

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
