A Little Coco

August 20, 2012

Now that my daughter is back at school I am getting back to  my painting.I just finished this old dresser and I LOVE the color.I used Annie Sloan Coco and accented it with Old White.

Lined with vintage music sheets.

And look at what else is new at Space 417

Yep that is an Underwood.Similar to mine.I hate to part with it.But since I have already have one it is off to my space.
What do you think of Coco? Have you used this yet?I think it is my new favorite color.Has a French look that I LOVE.

The Coco color is not something I would normally like..but it does look very good in the way that you used it! I am sure it would go well in many peoples homes:)

That is a beautiful colour. Very nice dresser.
I too have an Underwood typewriter. Mine sits in pride of place atop a Singer sewing machine used as an end table in the Sun room. Adorable.

    Cheers, Gee

You did a wonderful job on your dresser! It truly looks like a piece that was painted years ago. And the typewriter won’t last long in your booth. Very cool find!

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
