Crystal Icicles

November 29, 2012

As you know I have been using fresh greens in my home this year for Christmas.I have several metal galvanized buckets and decided to use these for my greens. One of the the buckets has been placed on a shelf in my living room.I decided it needed a little Christmas bling so I hung some crystals from a vintage chandelier on the branches.

I think it looks like icicles hanging from the branches don’t you?

Just added some twigs to the mix too.I have this branch in a floral foam so I can keep adding water to keep this from drying out.

Working on Christmas gifts that we are sending out to family.I soon will be baking too! What are you working on?

Thank you Jocie from One Project Closer The Humble Brag party for featuring my Christmas Tree in a Trunk  .Visit Jocie  to find about about her giveaway for a silhouette Cameo.

Really cute, Anne. Love the pattern. Looks great with the greens. They look good on bare branches too.

This looks fantastic, Anne. I like the twigs added to the evergreens.

I am still putting away fall things…I move slow! lol! We will probably get our tree the second weekend in December so I am always a little behind everyone. But…I get a lot of good ideas!

    XO,
    Jane

Sadly, due to allergies, mine and the lads, I cannot use fresh greens 🙁 I miss the smell of the evergreens…..
The ‘twig’ tree in our master bedroom is dressed in crystal icicles as well. Luv the look!!
    Cheers, Gee

I love your bucket arrangement with the sticks to add a different texture. The crystals are perfect to change it up a bit and add a little bling!

Very pretty. I love real greens, the smell, the naturalness of them. Join in my debate whether to use “faux real” or “fir real” tomorrow! Would love to hear your opinion! ~Delores

    HI Anne…

Oh how I love your greens.. I can almost smell that deee.lish aroma. We had huge cedar tree cut down this year so I have no greens.. well, I could send my Hubbs out into the nearby wilderness, couldn’t I??? I love the little bits and bobs you’ve added too. Very pretty…

    Blessings,
    Spencer

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
