NEW CHANEL SPRING SUMMER COLORMATCH MAKEUP COLLECTION 2025
I’m going to be honest when I first saw the Chanel spring summer 2025 colormatch makeup collection I wasn’t wowed. But after seeing it in person and now using it I absolutely love it and I’m going to share why. Also going to share what I purchased and what I passed on.
CHANEL SPRING SUMMER COLORMATCH
I was lucky to get this before the official release on line from Bloomingdale’s. It was just before Christmas and they were putting this out. I won’t won’t bore you with the whole story but I do share it on my YouTube channel video.
I spotted the Chanel JEUX DE LUMIÈRES palette and I thought it was gorgeous at first site! Colors are very monochromatic but so pretty and versatile. Especially for the spring and summer months. It creates a gorgeous effortless look. Much different than the Chanel enchanted evening look. The powders are buttery/creamy. They blend well into the skin creating a beautiful lit from within look. Nothing glittery just a beautiful glow. This can be used to create an entire look as I did or you can use it as a highlighter. But you’ll see that these powders show up well on my eyes and my cheeks.
COCO ROUGE BALM SHINE
This surprised me! I’ve purchased pink delight coco rouge balm a few years ago and I was very disappointed. There was barely any pigment showing on my lips. However the Cherry Burst in this new collection does not disappoint! Gorgeous color on my lips and so hydrating as well. This is the perfect red if you don’t want to fuss with a red lipstick. I can wear this for several hours without bleeding. Also it’s so easy to touch up! I may purchase another color because I love this one so much!
STYLO YEUX WATERPROOF EYELINER
For this I picked up the shade Vert Lagon. A gorgeous green that adds just the right amount of punch for an eye look. One thing Chanel does well is their eyeliners. There are several shades but this one really stood out to me and it’s different than any other liners I have.
