GLOWY SUMMER MAKEUP LOOK

July 29, 2024

GLOWY SUMMER MAKEUP LOOK

We all want that pretty glowy summer look. Today I’m going to share how I created a very easy look and I’m not using a ton of products to create this. Now to be honest I have oily skin and I live in Florida so it’s pretty easy to create a glowy summer makeup look. But this is about glow not a greasy look.

It’s all in the type of products that you’re using and how to apply them. All products I used to create this glowy summer makeup look are listed below(affiliate)

WHAT I USED TO CREATE THIS LOOK

GLOWY MAKEUP LOOK

There are many ways to create a glowy summer makeup look below are products I used. But as I say on my channel use what you already have in your budget.

First product and one of my new favorite products is the Vieve Skin Dew. If you want a glow that’s not glittery or sticky this product is for you. Just a tiny amount on the highest part of your cheeks and people will think you got fillers or a cheek lift. It’s so gorgeous on the skin and looks like you’re lit from within. I just a tiny amount on my finger tips and press into my skin on the highest part of my cheeks.

Just remember anytime you use a product that’s reflective you’re going to draw attention to that area. So if you have lines, textured skin you will draw attention to it.

Next is using a cream bronzer. Even with oily skin I love using a cream bronzer because it instantly gives you that summer I’ve been at the beach glow. The one I used today is from Saie Beauty. If you have oily skin and you want to set it you can use a powdered bronzer.

SAIE BRONZER

This  is one of the most beautiful bronzers I’ve ever used. It’s from Sisley is my favorite. It looks so natural, light and glowy. No sparkles at all, just beautiful and glowy. I apply this on top of a cream or you can skip the cream and use something like this. Apply it with a nice fluffy brush on your cheeks, forehead outline. You’ll see me show you how to apply it in THIS VIDEO on my YouTube channel.

Then to top it off I added this blush from RMS. These blushes are one of my favorite formulas. They look amazing on the skin and look so pretty and glowy. Again no sparkles just pretty. This is in the shade Mai Tai. I shared reviews on every single RMS blush. You can watch that review HERE.

RECOMMENDATIONS TO CREATE A SIMILAR LOOK

If you want to create a similar look here are a few suggestions. Go for a foundation that’s light, dewy and skin like. You can use one that’s more of a serum consistency especially if you have dry skin.

Use all creams if you have dry skin. Stay away from powders. Look for cream blushes as well if you have dry skin.

I personally like mixing both with my oily skin. But I go very light with all my applications. Less is best if you want it to wear well throughout the day.

If you’d like to see makeup tutorials on applications and tips I have over !,000 videos I’ve shared on my Youtube channel. Here’s a link to my playlists.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
