Fall Harvest White

September 30, 2012

In keeping with my simple fall decor this year I am keeping my mantle as is but adding a few white pumpkins.Well actually I think they are gourds. But we call them mini white pumpkins in this house.

All are real except for the faux white one on the end.I am looking for a real one that size.I just have not found it yet so faux it is.Well at least for now.The real ones were all found at my farmers market.

Some dried hydrangeas from my garden in an old milk bottle.I kept everything else the same on here.I just recently changed this and I like it so why change it.

Oh I did add this sweet little piece to the mix.Found at a garage sale.It is a petite tureen! I have never seen one so little! The pattern is beautiful and has lots of crazing and that lovely brown color from age.I love this to pieces! I placed it on a white ironstone platter that is also petite!

I really love this simple look. And it can stay out until Thanksgiving.
I have more fall to share soon.Just tweaking it a bit!
We are having a beautiful Sunday here! Off to spend some time with my family outdoors.Hope you are all having a great day too!

That is the beauty of this holiday season… Halloween can glide right into Thanksgiving! Love that! My decorations are still packed away but trust me… they will be coming out next week! By the way, the mirror on your mantle is such a perfect fit! And so very pretty!

I love your mantel!! Of course, I’m smitten most with the neutral grey and white palette overall. The small white pumpkins are just the right amount of Fall for it too. How did you get your paint job on your mantel to look like that? It looks wonderful! Love your fireplace screen too.

I love the simple look too. And the monochromatic tones are perfect. With that hydrangea in the old milk bottle, perfectly rustic. 🙂

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
