Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!
I know how frustrating it is to look our best at this age of our life.
And if you’re over 40 you know what I’m talking about 😉
Over the past nine years my skin has changed so much.
Years ago I had oily skin, and people would tell me, you’re so lucky!
And I was told that I wouldn’t have wrinkles.
Well that’s a big fat lie!
I do have some fine lines which are wrinkles.
As I age I know that those fine lines will only get bigger.
But I’m here to tell you that I’m not going to get plastic surgery.
I’ve seen what that does to women as we age, and I would rather grow old gracefully.
I can’t change what time will do to the way I look.
I can only do the best I can with what I have.
In this video I’m going to share my everyday look.
I’m also sharing each product that I use.
Since the lighting was a little off, you can’t see some of the products that I shared close to the camera.
So, below is a photo guide of each product I used.
I’m not an affiliate to any of these products, I’m just sharing what I use.
As with anything, you need to see what works with your skin.
What works for me, may not work for you.
I’m sure as my skin changes, I’ll be changing what I use on my face also.
My skin is so unpredictable at this point.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment.
I’ll be sharing how to contour in the next video.

Makeup Guide
Marc Jacobs makeup coconut primer- You can find it HERE
Apply this primer after you use your moisturizer, and let it sit on for 10 minutes.
Revlon Photo Ready BB cream applied after primer and before foundation.
I feel this one works well for a drugstore brand.
Light-pale
Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation.
4-Creamwhip
Laura Geller Baked Liquid Foundation -fair
I prefer to use this as a highlighter than a foundation.
Concealer, I prefer to use a liquid.
After trying several types, the liquid seems to work better with fine lines.
NYX-Porcelain
This too is a drugstore brand
La Mer Face Powder
You can purchase this at fine department stores.
Bobbi Brown pot rouge-Pale Pink
RCMA Makeup
Great for covering scars, used as a foundation or contouring.
This is a multi-purpose makeup and can be mixed with other shades.
It’s expensive, but a little goes a long way.
I use VK#11
You can purchase that HERE.
Urban Decay Gwen Stefani eyeshadow collection
This is one of my favorites, and can be mixed and matched.
Great colors, easy to apply and blend.
Tartelette Pallet
Beautiful colors, easy to apply and blend and can also be mixed and matched.
Great for everyday or if you’re going out.
Tarte Eye Brow Gel-Taupe
Easy to apply, stays on all day.
And it comes with this applicator brush
I always use an eyelash curler before adding my mascara
Right now my favorite mascara is Lancome Definicils Waterproof black
Let’s talk about brushes
Here are my most used brushes, and the brushes that I used in my video.
Makeup brushes can be expensive, but if you take good care of them they can last forever.
I’ve had some of these since I was a teen, and others for many years.
I do have a few new ones too.
I also used a beauty blender to apply my makeup.
It’s a bit expensive, but gives your foundation an airbrushed look
You can find beauty blenders on line, I found mine at Sephora.
I didn’t share my lip colors on the video, but here is what I was wearing and is my favorite everyday look that I love.
I always use a lip pencil because I have uneven lips.
My favorite lip pencil is from makeup forever 7C which is a pink/brown
The lip color is from Lancome – Pink Parfait
The lip gloss is from Bobbi Brown
The pink is now discontinued, but they have the brightening in white.
It’s not as pretty as the pink, but works well until I find a new one.
Don’t you hate it when you finally find something you like and works and then they discontinue it, UGH!
Next week I’ll share how you can create a flawless look with your makeup.
