The Scoop!

October 7, 2013

Ugh what a weekend. Some major computer issues. My husband was working on it all day yesterday and late last evening he thinks it may be fixed. So far so good.We were thinking a new computer was going to be in order but we may be okay..for now.
I apologize I still have lots of blog reading and catching up to do.I will be working on that sometime today. And I woke up with a migraine a fun day ahead for me!
This week we have a special host Barbara from The Everyday Home.Thank you Barbara for stepping in and helping out this week!

Oh the weather has changed here and I am so, so excited!!  I actually have the windows open for the first time in months.

I want to give my friend Andrea from The Cottage Market a shout out. She curated some of the best photos from Cedar Hill for a fabulous home tour.  You can see it here. She has put together several home tours of other bloggers and I think you will enjoy them all, click here.

 Welcome back to The Scoop

The weekly linky party featuring the scoop on the best posts from around the web!

AND
Come meet our fabulous guest host, Barb, who chose the features this week.

Hi Everyone – my name is Barb and I blog at

The Everyday Home.

Barb with The Everyday Home

I am both thrilled and honored to serve as your
Guest Host here at The Scoop.
This is one of my favorite parties so I had a fantastic time
choosing some of my faves – even as hard as it was.
So…here’s my scoop on The Scoop …

I absolutely adore this mantel and the walnut garland
by Hymns and Verses. This is one of the prettiest
and most creative garlands I have seen in a while.

Make Mine Lemon shares her gorgeous Apple Cream Tart.
I love apples. I love tarts. I love this recipe. Laughing
I can’t wait to try this one.

You absolutely do NOT want to miss this spectacular
Home Tour by Chateau-Chic. If you love French Country
style, you will love this home.

I love the idea of creating your own fabric.
Posed Perfection used a stencil and some drop cloth
to create this beautiful Turkish Tulip design.
Just think of all the possibilities.

The first time I saw these Felted Wool Acorns by
Celebrate Creativity, I fell head over heels in love with
them. Look how gorgeous they are!!! These are now
on my “must have” list.

Finally, I couldn’t pass up on this darling
Pumpkin Fairy Garden by My Flower Journal. I love Fairy
Gardens, and this is just a sweet idea to use a pumpkin
as a container. She even used the stem and a gourd
for a “mushroom.”
I could have gone on and on showcasing my features…
but I know you would like to get to the Party.
But, before I leave you – I would like to share a few of my
most recent projects with you…

in about an hour, and I show you how you can create
one ,too, HERE.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
