~~Wood Layers~~

So many of you bloggers out there have inspired me in so many ways.Especially in decorating.Using things or putting things together in ways I would have never thought of.Joy from savvycityfarmer inspired me to try this.

Joy had shared how she used a wood board for a wood counter top.I really loved that look.I came across two of these.So I bought them both.I have one on each side of my stove.I love that basket.It holds my cutting boards and my utensil crock.

On this board I have an old drawer.In it is stored my jar of sugar,salt and pepper and that really cool silver tray I found.All these were found at a thrift store.

I love the look of lace with wood.I guess it is the contrast of colors with the wood and white.And the softness the lace gives the wood.
